We've thought a lot about soundtracks over the last few years. But since the opportunity never came our way we stopped that thinking and did what we wanted.

Someone, somewhere, wrote something about the immersive process of reading, about there being some types of music that were ideally suited to reading. Mozart is good, apparently...

We don't really listen to much Mozart. And we don't read too many novels where Mozart would be the ideal backdrop. So we got ourselves thinking again.

In the end, after realising that 'Naked Lunch' was too much of task to find the right way in, we settled on Burroughs' first novel 'Junkie', a far more episodic affair.
